In addition to the roads suitable for cycling tourism, mostly asphalted, there are numerous forested and cobbled forest roads in the area, along with tractor roads and wider paths used especially by shepherds, excellent for mountain bikes.
In the mountainous area, most of them are in the river valleys, but also some on the southern peaks that climb or approach the ridge of the Căpățănii Mountains. Their ridge can be fully traveled by bicycle without too much difficulty, the climb up there being more difficult.
We offer you several routes, most of them starting from a village at the foot and climbing the Căpățănii Mountains, with two paired branches located on the valleys or on their southern ridges.
